10 that turned into 42.

Now, I’m the first to admit I’m not exactly the fittest person in the world these days. Those of you that know me well appreciate the 20-a-day fag habit has hardly upped my CV efficiency over the years, so when my closest friend suggested a short ten mile jaunt on the mountain bikes following a heavy night on the sauce (whilst camping) I was quite happy to participate. Clear the head, cleanse the soul and all that lovely stuff I thought to myself. Well, I was wrong on all fronts. What followed over the next few hours transpired to be one of the most arse-clenchingly painful and without doubt rewarding rides of my (adult) life.
